Biographical Notes on Larry Herrin, the Owner |

 Hi! I'm Larry Herrin. I have over 20 years of media experience of one form or another. After studying video production and print journalism in college (editor of the college newspaper, bla bla bla...), I eventually became the Local section copy-desk editor of the Boca Raton News, and wrote the occasional article for local and trade magazines on the side. I still keep my hand in the writing pot: My latest article was a feature story on a Tampa-area video producer for an international wedding and event videography trade magazine.
In 1988, I began a new career in hydrogeology for a local groundwater-consulting firm, while continuing my writing sideline. In late 1996, I was able to begin my long-awaited third career -- in the video production business.
I have produced a number of wedding, Bar Mitzvah, special event and video biography presentations. I have produced an informational video for a Broward County School District center for the handicapped. I have produced corporate marketing and instructional videos. I am currently in pre-production on a self-help instructional video and a marketing video for a dance studio.
Another ongoing project throughout most of 2006 is a historical preservation documentary for J.C. Mitchell Elementary School here in Boca Raton. The school, built in 1958, was named after a pioneering Boca Raton real estate entrepreneur and mayor, and was demolished last year to make room for a new replacement campus.
